Devil’s Bridge Trail is one of the most popular hikes in the Sedona area attracting both casual hikers and the more adventurous outdoors enthusiasts; with its natural rock staircase, fantastic views, and the largest natural sandstone arch in the Sedona area it’s easy to see why.

In one of her most recent articles, Chelsea showcased the beauty of Devil Bridge Trail, an adventure she admits was spurred on by seeing her “friend’s enviable picture of the trail on Instagram.” We thought her descriptions of the hike she took, as well as the incredible photographs taken by her – some of which are shared here – were worth the read.

As per most of her articles, she takes the reader with her as she hikes along the Devils Bridge Trail and even offers up several tips for when you take your own hike, including:

Tip 1: Devil’s bridge is one of the most popular hikes in Sedona. One yelper reported seeing 200 people during midday in the spring. If you are looking for solitude, this hike isn’t for you.

Tip 2: It may look terrifying to cross the bridge however it is about 5 feet across and 45 feet long, not quite as daunting as it appears.

Tip 3: Soak in the sweeping views from the top and then head down and get a view of the arch below. A short path leads to underneath the bridge where the trail splits.
